Therapy Lion

Description

Each of our Therapy animals are weighted for rehabilitative and therapeutic purposes (helpful with the atrophy, autism, Parkinson’s and many more conditions). The outer shell of each Therapy Animal is perfectly fitted with a special hand sewn inner shell. We then hand fill the animal with weighted material (beads) and seal the animal accordingly. Upon request, the inner and outer animal is then treated with a wonderful anti-microbial substance known as MicrobeCare ®, which does not affect the feel of the animal. Our Therapy animals range from two pounds (2 Lbs.) up to five pounds (5 Lbs.). We can provide Therapy Bears up to ten pounds (10 Lbs.), upon special request. All Therapy Bears over the weight of five pounds (5 Lbs.) are twenty-four inches (24”) tall. Because of the way our Therapy animals are made, one can feel the beads throughout the animal, which helps with tactile stimulation.
